Volunteer Information
There are many volunteer opportunities that can be done at school or at home.
We greatly appreciate as much or as little time as you want to give.
Young children are welcome at Bonne Ecole - bring them along when you come to volunteer.
Security Procedures: Upon entering the building, you must sign in at the office, receive a
visitor badge, and turn in your car keys or photo ID. When leaving, please remember to sign out.
5 Simple Ways You Can Get Involved at Bonne Ecole:
Volunteer Opportunities:
- Art Recyclables – sorting donated recyclables for art teacher
- Beautification – landscaping school grounds
- Bring a Special Person to Breakfast – planning and/or assisting at event
- Bulletin Board – decorating and updating PTA bulletin board
- Cafeteria Monitor – monitoring students in cafeteria
- Computer Lab – assisting teacher in lab, no special knowledge necessary
- Cultural Arts Contests – distributing contest information, etc.
- Dads Club – social and service projects
- Family Game Night – setting and cleaning up, serving drinks, etc.
- First Aid – administering bandages and ice packs in First Aid room
- Fun Fair – helping to set up and organize, sending in items, working booths, etc.
- Fund Raisers – distributing orders
- Hospitality – arranging snacks for general PTA meetings and for judges at the science and social science fair
- Labels Committee – sorting Box Tops, etc.
- Library – assisting in library
- Phone Committee – calling 5-10 people off volunteer list about volunteer needs
- Publicity – contact newspapers about events
- Silent Auction – requesting donations and/or helping with auction
- Scholastic Book Fairs (fall/spring) – cashiers, helping kids select books
- Teacher and Staff Appreciation – requesting donations, preparing food, sending in items, etc.
- Teacher Relief (2-3 p.m., Wednesdays) – sitting in a K-6 class while the teacher is at a meeting (no planning or special skills required)
- Volunteer Coordinator – counting hours, maintaining list of volunteer contact information
