Projects

Art Recyclables:
We are collecting recyclables for our art teacher Mrs. Daly to use in her classroom instruction:

• plastic containers (metal containers and coffee cans are not needed) with labels removed
• large plastic detergent containers (such as ALL or WISK)
• yarn
• fabric remnants
• buttons, glitter, sequins, confetti (great for collages)
• styrofoam meat trays (cleaned with soapy water)
• tissue paper or gift wrap remnants
• glass baby food jars with lids (as a safety precaution, please do not send to school with children)

Please send these items to school with your child or put them in the designated box between the cafeteria entrances. For a list of more items Mrs. Daly needs for her classroom projects, visit the Daly's Art News Wish List webpage.

Labels:
We are collecting labels from:

• Box Tops for Education
• Campbell’s Labels for Education - UPC codes, front labels are no longer accepted
• Community Coffee Cash for Schools - UPC codes or purchase a CC's card, load it ($5 or more), register online, and enter our school code: 2843. Each CC's card purchase equals one UPC code.

• Tyson Project A+
• Nestle Pure Life Go Play

Please put labels in a bag marked with the name of your child(ren) and their teacher(s). If possible, separate labels by type in the bag. Send labels to school with your child or put them in the designated box between the cafeteria entrances.
A small prize will be given to each child for every 50 labels they submit. At the end of the school year, the top class will win a pizza party.
Thank you! Last year our labels program raised over $3,000 in cash and equipment for PTA projects supporting Bonne Ecole students and teachers.

Mini-Grant Program:
The purpose of the Mini-Grant Program is to provide financial support for teachers seeking to introduce innovative and creative projects in their classrooms and in the school. Any full time teacher currently employed at Bonne Ecole and a member of Bonne Ecole PTA is eligible to apply for a grant between $200 and $500. The grants are competitive and will be judged by a PTA Mini-Grant Committee.

Restaurant Spirit Nights:
It's easy to participate - just bring your family and friends to dine at the specified restaurant on Bonne Ecole Elementary Spirit Nights and a percentage of that evening's sales will go to our school.
